Those who are learning Irish (or who want to learn to speak Irish) and who missed out on our Irish classes, will have another opportunity to get to grips with learning Irish online. The Irish language is now more accessible than ever, and our Irish classes are a great place to start learning to speak Irish. The Big Drum Competition
Raidió Fáilte in conjunction with Ben Madigan Press is organising a competition to win a signed copy of The Big Drum, Dr. Art Hughes’ translation of Seosamh Mac Grianna’s famous novel An Druma Mór. All you have to do to enter the competition is answer the following question: Where was the writer Seosamh Mac Grianna from?
We want the name of the area that he was from and the name of the county. Send in your answers to oifig@raidiofailte.com before the 10 February 2010 to be in with a chance of winning.Ádh Mór!
We will be giving away two books in this competition and there will be a raffle held on the 10 February 2010 to determine the winner. The winner will be announced on the program Aos Dána on the 10 February 2010 between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
